Description


The Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) is soliciting bids for an open Agency Contract with a qualified instructor to teach a five day (40 hour) GPSTC course entitled Sexual Assault Investigations. Course will provide law enforcement officers with training in the investigation of sexual assault
incidents, in compliance with OCGA 16-6 and current best practices. Topics will include dynamics of assault as well as some myths and misconceptions, investigative strategy and responsibilities, as well as some case scenarios. Instructor must teach the POST approved course according to the course terminal performance objectives and enabling objectives. The instructor must teach the POST approved course according to the course Terminal Performance Objectives and Enabling Objectives. There must be no deviance from the course lesson plan.
This solicitation is for an Open Agency Contract to be effective for (12) months with four (4) consecutive renewal terms if prices, terms and conditions remain the same. With an Open Agency contract, the course may be taught as many times as needed as long as funding is available, but no quantity of courses is guaranteed.
