Work to be included under this contract will include: In a joint project, City of Auburn, and City of Winder, Georgia are planning to install: A. 2,676 ft. of 16-inch DIP/PVC/HDPE, B. 3,882 fts of 24-inch DIP, C. 690 ft. of 30-inch DIP, D. 60 ft. of 30-inch HDPE, E. 1335 ft. 12-inch HDPE, F. one 602 gpm package raw water pump station, G. two 4¿x5¿x10¿ precast concrete box intakes structures, H. one 18'X8'X5' precast concrete intake structure, with 10'x10'x18.7¿ deep precast concrete valve vault, I. 3,000 ft of 12 to 16ft wide graded gravel road, and associated clearing/grubbing, concrete work, fitting, manholes and other appurtenances.

The Engineer¿s opinion as to estimated project cost is $7 to $9 million. The estimated project time is 9 months. One phase of the project will be needed in 6 months from notice of award. Evaluation of Proposals will be made according to the factors contained in the RFP including a weighted scoring of cost, qualifications, value engineering, pipe materials and schedule.
