The DCBOH, through the Board's Health Assessment and Promotion (HAP) Department, is looking for Community Partners for the National Institute of Health (NIH) Community Partnerships to Advance Science for Society (ComPASS) Program: Community-Led, Health Equity Structural Intervention Initiative. The project will focus on developing, implementing, assessing, and disseminating community-led, health equity structural interventions. The goal is to reduce health disparities among racial and ethnic minority populations by intervening across sectors and systems in Georgia. The target population is Black/African Americans and Hispanics/Latinx residing in DeKalb County. To improve health outcomes, the interventions will address structural factors such as housing, transportation, employment, access to care, and education. The timeline for the initiative is 5 to 10 years.
