Animal Shelter Generator Replacement

Hall County, Georgia, (Herein “County”) Animal Services, is seeking qualified contractors to furnish and install one (1) replacement generator to replace existing Generac 300 KW diesel/natural gas generator at Hall County Animal Shelter located at 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA 30507. (herein “Services”).

This is a turnkey project to provide all materials, equipment, labor, transportation, and supervision. The project includes removing and disposing of the existing Generac natural gas generator and providing and installing a new diesel generator. The County seeks to award one (1) contractor for the project.

Mandatory Pre-Bid On-Site Visit : Bidders are required to attend the pre-bid on-site meeting on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 9:00am located at Hall County Animal Shelter, 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA 30507

Bidding Process: The County is now accepting sealed bids for the provision of services to replace existing Generac 300 KW natural gas generator and furnish and install one (1) new standby diesel Generac generator or other brand of equal fit, form, and function at Hall County Animal Shelter, in the County’s Purchasing Division, located on the fourth (4 ^th ) floor at the Hall County Government Center, 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, until 2:00 p.m. EST, Thursday, January 25, 2024.

The County will make any extension of the bidding period by a formal written addendum and publicly posted. Bidders must submit two (2) copies of the bid along with all mandatory exhibits and documents, signed affidavits, and Exhibit C – Cost Proposal in hardcopy and also include on one (1) USB Flash Drive with all documents. Emailed bids are not acceptable.
