Request for Qualifications with Cost Proposals

For the provision of:

Exploring New Technologies for Leachate Treatment at the Candler Road Landfill

We have a few questions that have been asked and wanted to provide the answers:

1. Do you have any characteristics of the leachate, including but limited to PFAS?

See Attached Reports

2. Do you have qualitative targets for treated leachate?

The ability to have the latest technology and treatment options available and communications.

The ability to treat the Concentrate instead of recycling it back into the cells.

The ability to know the newest technologies in chemicals to treat and clean with, filters (sand and cartridge) and membranes.

The ability to have a system with room for expansion and growth as well as maintenance, not be limited to a “footprint”.

3. The RFQ says that permeate is used for dust control and other uses on site and reject is sent back to landfill cells? Does any leachate, permeate, or reject, leave the landfill?

Nothing leaves the site.
