Hall County, Georgia Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified vendors t
o provide barber services for male and female inmates and detainees held by Hall County with a guaranteed bid price for a 12-month period.
Specifications:
The following minimum specification shall apply to the requested services:
1.1 Provide haircuts once a month for female/male inmate/detainees which will be coordinated through Inmate Services.
1.2 The designated service day of the month usually requires approximately 115-200 haircuts per session. This figure is based on the average inmate/detainee population of the Jail.
1.3 In the event the Barber/Hairdresser is not available to provide the scope of services as set forth above, a substitute Barber/Hairdresser should be provided.
1.4 Barber/Hairdresser and any substitute employee will be required to submit to a background check. Access to the facility is provided at the sole discretion of Hall County Jail personnel and the Barber/Hairdresser must comply with all verbal and written security instructions.
1.5 The haircut will be performed only if approved by attending County
Guard/Officer on duty.
1.6 The County Guard/Officer must be in attendance with Barber at all times
during service sessions.
1.7 All Barbers/Hairdressers must wear ID provided by the Jail.
1.8 All Barbers/Hairdressers will wear a polo shirt or t-shirt provided by contracted
Barber.
1.9 Barber to supply own standard tools and supplies such as clippers, scissors, and
cleaning equipment.
1.10 Payment for services will be made from Inmate Fund through Hall County
Financial Services Office.
