To renovate two (2) fire stations in Hall County, Georgia
Hall County, Georgia, Fire Rescue Department, is seeking a General Contractor for Hire to complete a turnkey project, furnish and install all materials and fixtures, oversee and complete the remodel of two (2) different operating fire stations.
The first is
Fire Station #10
, built in year 2000, and located at 5608 GA-52, Gillsville, GA 30543 that serves the Gillsville area. The second is Fire Station #9, built in year 1999, and located at
5040 Poplar Springs Rd, Gainesville, GA 30507, which serves the Candler area.
The County seeks to award one (1) general contractor with an award to complete both renovations in the time specified herein.

Mandatory On-Site Pre-Bid Addresses:
The County will hold both of the two (2) Pre-Bid On-Site visits on the same day starting with the first meeting will starting promptly at 9:00am at Hall County Fire Station #10, located at 5608 GA-52, Gillsville, GA 30543. Afterwards, all parties will proceed to Fire Station #9, located
5040 Poplar Springs Rd, Gainesville, GA 30507.
Bidders will need to sign in with the issuing officer who will be on site.

in order to submit a bid.

Hall County (herein “County”) is now accepting sealed bids for the provision of General Contractor Services in the County Purchasing Division, located on the fourth (4

) floor at the Hall County Government Center, 2875 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, will receive sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time,

. The County will not evaluate bids received after 2:00 pm. The County will make any extension of the bidding period by a formal written addendum and publicly posted. Bidders must submit the
Exhibit C Mandatory Cost Worksheet
, and all mandatory bid documents of the bid. The County will not accept emailed bids.
Bid Retention:
Bidders may not withdraw their bid after the bid opening. Bids must be valid for one-hundred and twenty calendar days (120). The County reserves the right to retain all bids submitted and use any idea(s) in a bid regardless of award. The County shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity of immaterial deviation in any bid received. All forms and documents entitled ‘Mandatory’ must be completed and returned with the bid or it may not be evaluated for award.
Award Process:
The County reserves the option to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, or to select any bidder to complete the described Work. The County will award the project to one company to perform all of the work on one contract based on the best value to the County from a responsible and responsive bidder. The undersigned Bidder expressly understands that the bid may be rejected by the County for any reason without liability on part of the County to the Bidder.

o other contact of any nature, verbal, email, or other communication, is permissible with any County staff member, nor its elected officials, nor Commissioners, during the evaluation process. Such contact may render the submission in violation of the Official Code of Hall County, rendered as non-responsive, and will not be evaluated for an award.
