Commerce Way Redevelopment Streetscape Improvements
RFP# 2023-07
The City of Tifton is seeking sealed proposals for the construction of the project entitled Commerce Way Redevelopment Streetscape Improvements. The project consists of (but is not limited to) streetscape improvements such as concrete pavement, sidewalks, ADA ramps, landscaping steps & walls, and high-visibility crosswalks, as well storm drainage improvements, asphalt paving, traffic striping & signage, erosion control, traffic control, and other miscellaneous items/work. Utility improvements proposed within the project area will be provided through a separate contract – see RFP 2023-06 Commerce Way Redevelopment Utility Improvements for more information.
Sealed Proposals for construction of the project will be received until Monday, May 1, 2023 at 2:30 PM at the City Manager’s Office (City Hall), at 130 1st St E, Tifton, GA 31794, at which time and place they will be publicly opened. No proposal may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of sixty (60) days.
A Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:30 PM at the City Manager’s Office (City Hall) at 130 1st St E, Tifton, GA 31794. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is not required but is encouraged.

to procure RFP Documents, Project Plans, and to be added to the Plan Holders List. Digital copies of documents will be provided at no charge. Hard copies will not be provided. Prospective bidders must be on the official plan holders list in order for their RFP to be considered responsive.
