Description

GRAYL UltraPress Ti is a water bottle with a built in replaceable filter. The compression filter is capable of purifying water.

This is a new requirement to meet the objectives of an agile fighting force.

Potable water is imperative and an agile force will be limited by its supply of potable water. The force will need a light weight,

durable, portable device capable of providing potable water. The device needs to be a simple design to avoid human error, with

the capability to replace the filter easily. As well as enough filters to support for 90 days.

Brand name or equal item to the GRAYL UltraPress Ti. (1,000 Water Bottles Each) (3,000 Water Filters Each)

Requirement for the filters:

- Purify Fresh water to potable standards

- Store between 15-20 fl oz

- Ease of maintenance/use, Minimal Training Required

- Min of 140 L of potable water before maintenance or cartridge replacement

- Capable of cooking/boiling over open flame

- Durable

- Ease of transportation

- Ease accessibility of potable water when needed

- Alternate purification/substance options increasing survivability of user

- Long lasting/endure abuse of military operations/field conditions

- Removes waterborne pathogens. 99.99% of viruses, 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.9% of protozoan cysts including Rotavirus,

Hepatitis A, Norovirus, Giardiasis, Cryptosporidium, E. Coli, Cholera, Salmonella, Dysentery and more.

- Meets the EPA Guide Standard and Protocol for testing microbiological water purifiers.
