The requirement for this sources sought is a 4 to 6 lane firing simulator that can accurately simulate realistic weapon recoil, engage targets at distance, and utilize a spotter for engagements. The required weapon systems are M4, M18, M240B, and M1110. The performance levels/specifications may be identified as targets rather than fixed or minimum requirements. The aim is to encourage competition and ensure the requirements align with industry standard practices while being realistic and definable. The simulator should include an accurate ballistics engine, the ability to conduct mission rehearsal, replicate long-range engagements in a classroom setting, train for windage, elevation, and distance factors without live fire, and network multiple weapon and optic platforms together with the same scenario for collective training.
