GENERAL STATEMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d

Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being

issued for the requirement described herein.

The 347th OSS supports real-world, exercise and training events with unit owned communications equipment. Protecting, updating and care for these pieces of equipment is paramount to the equipment's continued success. The fleet of radio power supplies are 10+ years old and starting to fail rendering the radio itself useless for its current function. Protection of the assets by housing them in an operations case will extend the life and shrink downtime/repair costs from inadvertent damage. The unit owns HF radios but does not have any amplification or housing for these assets. Adding this protection with an amplification piece will help transmissions cut through congested airwaves and continue to operate when propagation conditions are not optimum for operations.
