The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7, on behalf of the Atlanta VAMC at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033, hereby provides notice of its intent to negotiate on a sole source basis with Paula F Price Enterprises LLC, located at 507 W Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841. The rationale for the sole source acquisition is that Paula F Price Enterprises LLC is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that is capable of completing the Replacement of Master MED Gas Alarms. This requirement includes the replacement of all three obsolete Allied Master alarms to include rewiring all three locations correctly per NFPA99 regulations, which must be completed for the facility to be compliant with all applicable governing entities and regulations to include-but not limited to-Joint Commission, NFPA99, and VHA Directive 7515. This acquisition is anticipated to take place on or about June 5, 2023. The existing knowledge of the market/industry known to contracting and the requiring activity, in addition to the VIP search results, and the intent to use a sole source SDVOSB, in accordance with FAR 6.302-5 and VAAR 806.302-570(a) and (c), is sufficient. This action is in accordance with 38 U.S.C. 8127 and VAAR 819.7008. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238210 with a small business size of $19 million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A SOLICATION OR REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
