Request for Interested Manufacturers of NSN 5998-01-599-8130UC, Circuit Card Assembly



SUBJECT:



Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the NSN 5998-01-599-8130UC, Circuit Card Assembly.



ITEM DESCRIPTION



The component of interest is a Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) housed in the C-5 Edge Lighted Panel and Annunciator Dimmer (ELPAD), PN: 714815-1 NSN: 6025-01-492-5154UC, whose primary function is to convert 28VDC to 5VDC.



IMPEDIMENT TO COMPETITION:



The original equipment manufacturer for this item is GE Aviation System (CAGE 19623). The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, GE Aviation System is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the CCA performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.

The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
