Description

GENERAL STATEMENT:



This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein.



REQUIREMENT:



Moody AFB is seeking to acquire a self contained liquid nitrogen generator. The liquid nitrogen produced will be used regularly to shrink bushings around .0015”-.002” prior to installation on aircraft to avoid damage to the aircraft or bushing that is being installed.



Brand-name or equal product:



1 - Triton2s Intelligent LN2 Generator or equal product that can provide the capabilities listed below.

Capabilities:

- Must produce between 6 to 10 liters of liquid nitrogen a day.

- The power requirement for the generator needs to be 110-240 50/60 HZ.

- Have a anywhere between a 20 to 35 liter holding tank. Space restrictions limit the size holding tank we would be able to house.

- Produce at liquid nitrogen that is at least 98% pure.

- A flask dispenser that would make it safe and easy to dispense the LN2.

- Be plug-and-play to reduce cost of installation and preclude any delays in setup with an integrated colling system that allows for operation at high temperatures.

- The generator would need to have a small footprint as there is limited space in the building it would be used. Please provide dimensions with the quote.





Brand name or equal, equal items identified should furnish adequate information with the quote to ensure that a determination can be made as to the equality of the products requested. Please provide warranty information and delivery date.





Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Per FAR 52.232-18 Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.



The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
