Invitation For Bids (IFB): Brownsville Road - Bid # 22-019

The City of Powder Springs will be seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed contractors with demonstrated skills and experience in providing construction services for the traffic control, curb and gutter, stormwater, concrete sidewalks, landscaping, paving and all other work necessary for the completion of the Brownsville Road Project IFB 22-019 on Brownsville Road from CH James Parkway to Hiram Lithia Springs Road. This proposal shall also include all materials, labor, equipment, and miscellaneous related items to complete this project in accordance with the terms of the Invitation for Bid (“IFB”), any resulting contract, and the construction documents/specifications prepared by Croy Engineering, LLC for the City of Powder Springs. Prospective submitters can request the bid package by emailing the Program Manager, Chad Kastner at ckastner@croyeng.com .

The proposals shall be submitted to Powder Springs Police Department at 1114 Richard D. Sailors Parkway prior to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. There will be a pre-proposal meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at 10 a.m. via Zoom. All inquiries and questions shall be submitted to ckastner@croyeng.com on or before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023. All communication relating to this proposal, either before or after the opening, must be coordinated through Chad Kastner, at 770- 971-5407 or ckastner@croyeng.com .

The City of Powder Springs reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities, informalities, and technicalities, award the contract in the best interest of the City of Powder Springs, or to request re-proposal. The City of Powder Springs reserves the right to accept all or any part of the proposal and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the City of Powder Springs. The City also reserves the right to cancel the agreement with the successful submitter. The City of Powder Springs will not be obligated to award contracts based solely on price or low proposal. The full cost of this proposal shall be borne by the submitting company.
