The Douglasville – Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the “Authority”) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the Liberty Road Stormwater Improvement Project (the “Project”), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be “turn key” and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel.

The work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 130 linear feet (LF) of 30” corrugated metal pipe (CMP). The Project includes installation of approximately 80 linear feet (LF) of 42” reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), 98 linear feet (LF) of 54” reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), four concrete headwalls, and relocation of an existing water main with a 8” ductile iron pipe (DIP) water main and appurtenances. Associated traffic control, erosion control measures, and pavement restoration are also included in the scope of work. The project is located within Douglas County. The work will be installed as required and shown on the plans for the Liberty Road Stormwater Improvement Project, prepared by Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority, Brian Keel, P.E., last revised May 20, 2022.
