Description
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Claxton at 206 W Railroad St. Claxton, Ga 30417
until 1:00 pm, April 28, 2023 for the furnishing labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals for
the construction of:
Two large meter and regulator stations to serve the natural gas to the JV & OEM facilities at the
new Hyundai facility. The City of Claxton will supply meters, regulators, strainers and 4”, 6” & 8”
valves. Meters, regulators, strainers and valves will be picked up by the successful bidder at the
City of Claxton warehouse. Piping of the tubing lines and startup for the regulators will be
provided by the City and coordinated with the installation contractor. A separate price is
requested to provide the meter sets mounted on a skid. Copies of welding procedure
qualification and welder qualification will be required if welders are not qualified under SRCS
procedures. X Ray is not required
Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids should be submitted in a
sealed envelope addressed to the above address for the City of Claxton.Electronic versions of the material specifications and drawings can be sent to you by email.
There will not be a mandatory pre-bid meeting. If you have any questions or need additional

and to waive formalities and re-advertise.
