1.1.      Purpose of Procurement
1.1.1.           Georgia State University (GSU), (Owner) ,A Unit of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia ,is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing Task Order Contractor ( CM at Risk  and/or Design-Build services) for certain construction projects at Georgia State University. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify qualified potential providers of the above-mentioned services.
1.1.2.           GSU is responsible for procuring and administering the Task Order Contract(s) for limited services for construction projects in support of Georgia State University (GSU).
1.1.3.           A contract will be issued for an indefinite amount of ¿as needed¿ construction orders named ¿Task Orders.¿ Each Task Order consists of a Task Order Agreement, with attachments, together with the master Task Order Contract.  The maximum aggregate amount of Task Order Agreements issued, including Change Orders, shall not exceed $2,500,000.00 for this contract. Each individual Task Order Agreement including change orders shall not exceed $1,000,000.  GSU will issue between six (6) and nine (9) separate Task Order Contracts. The intent is to hire 5 to 7 General Contractors and 2 to 3 Mechanical contractors.
1.1.4.           Both performance and payment bonds will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract sum for any Task Order Agreement over $50,000.00.
1.1.5.           The scopes of services may vary from project to project. Projects may consist of, but may not be limited to, certain renovations and related building repair and maintenance work for the various facilities at GSU.
