The Clarke County School District is inviting proposals from qualified General Contractors for the Early Learning Center East (ELC East) Earth Shelter Roof Replacement project located at 280 Gaines School Road, Athens, GA 30605. Competitive Cost Sealed Proposals will be received by the Clarke County School District in the SPLOST Office located at 145 Paradise Blvd., Athens, Georgia, 30607, until 11:00 AM on April 25, 2023.
This project will consist of approximately 13,000 square feet of roof replacement and 6000 square feet of EIFS installation. The Earth Shelter is covered with approximately 3 feet of dirt and will have to be removed as part of the roof replacement work. The work is scheduled to start June 15, 2023 and be complete by August 1,2023.
A mandatory Pre-Proposal conference will be held at the Clarke County School District, District Service’s Building at 145 Paradise Blvd, Athens Georgia 30607, in the Nutrition conference room (2nd Floor) on April 12, 2023 at 10:00a.m.
Proposals will be due on April 25,2023 at 11:00 AM at the Clarke County School District, District Service’s Building at 145 Paradise Blvd, Athens Georgia 30607 SPLOST Department (2nd Floor).
Bidding documents may be obtained by email from the Architect, Lindsay, Pope, Brayfield and Assocs. Inc., 344 West Pike Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Upon request, Documents may be obtained electronically by email: biddocs@lpbatlanta.com. Proposers will be given access to the Architect’s ftp site where Drawings and Specifications may be downloaded at no charge. Documents may also be accessed by Subcontractors or Material Suppliers.
