The Douglasville – Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority (the “Authority”) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the performance of the West Banks Mill Tank Rehabilitation Project (the “Project”), as more fully described in the Invitation for Bids. The scope of work includes the provision by the Contractor of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work. The Project will be “turn key” and require minimal involvement of Authority personnel.

The work to be performed in the Base Bid shall include the reconditioning of the West Banks Mill Tank, a 500,000-gallon elevated storage tank, including replacing the interior coatings, overcoating the exterior coatings, and miscellaneous repairs. The work included in the Supplemental Bid includes miscellaneous piping modifications to the tank’s drain piping. The West Banks Mill Tank is located on West Banks Mill Road in Winston, Georgia.

All work will be performed on Authority property. All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the Project have been obtained.
