Fulton County Schools (FCS) is soliciting proposals to provide a comprehensive reading program for students in Grades 6-11 who are reading below grade level as determined by the state reading assessment and/or district universal screener. This supplemental program will be utilized with students during a daily reading class in addition to their daily English Language Arts class. This program should include opportunities for teacher-led whole group and small group reading instruction as well as an adaptive, computer-assisted component. The instructional materials should be based on the Science of Reading and provide instruction on the following pillars of reading: phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. It shall also meet the minimum requirements in the areas of content/curriculum, teacher experience, student experience, assessments and data reporting, professional learning and support, and demonstrated student outcomes.
