The Georgia Department of Public Health (¿Department¿ or ¿DPH¿) is seeking quotes from contractors who will provide Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test designed to detect the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19). The Department¿s goal is to provide Georgia residents with over-the-counter COVID-19 testing devices to rapidly identify SARS-CoV-2 virus as part of the Department¿s goals of performing COVID-19 surveillance. Testing device use may include, but not be limited to the provision of over-the-counter COVID-19 testing devices for: K-12 faculty, staff, and students; homeless populations and other congregate settings; correctional facility staff; and the general population throughout Georgia. The selected Contractor shall ship over the counter COVID-19 testing devices that are FDA approved and/or EUA-approved to perform COVID-19 testing in the United States. Additionally, DPH is seeking quotes for point of care (professional) Rapid Antigen COVID-19 testing devices that have an FDA approval and/or EUA-approved for COVID-19 testing in the United States under a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) waiver.
