The purpose of this project is to provide cleaner air to the building by adding bi-polar ionization and better filtration. Work shall include but not be limited to replacing the existing air handler AHU-B2 and relocate floor drain in mechanical room.

The Owner will receive sealed bids from Contractors in Room #112, 131 College Circle, Bids must be physically on the table in the Bid Room by 2:30PM o’clock, at the time legally prevailing in Swainsboro, Georgia on October 18, 2022, for the construction of Project# 0025-2228, AHU- B2 Replacement located in Plant Operations East Georgia State College, Swainsboro, Georgia. At the time and place noted above, the bids will be publicly opened and announced.

Once ordered, plans will be shipped (shipping charges collect) as soon as possible after receipt of applications and payment of picked up at one of two Clayton Locations listed: Statesboro (912-681-3700) and Savannah (912-447-5445).

Bidders are cautioned that acquisition of Bidding Documents through any source other than this source is not advisable. Acquisition of Bidding Documents from unauthorized sources places the bidder at risk of receiving incomplete or inaccurate information upon which to base a bid.

There will be a pre-bid conference held on October 4, 2022, at 2:30PM at the Plant Operations Building, 131 College Circle, Swainsboro, GA, 30401. Attendance at this conference is MANDATORY for any Contractor intending to bid on this project. Others may attend if they so desire.
