The City of Madison is accepting proposals to rehabilitate airport pavements at the Madison Municipal Airport. Sealed bids on the enclosed forms will be received in the city of Madison, P. O. Box 32, 132 North Main Street, Madison, Georgia 30650 until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Envelopes must be marked “Madison Municipal Airport – Rehabilitate Airport Pavements”. Bids will be opened and read aloud publicly on January 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Meeting Hall located at 160 North Main Street, Madison, GA. Deadline for questions will be January 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM. All questions must be submitted in writing. Please contact Jordan Rodriguez at Jordan.Rodriguez@jacobs.com any questions. Contractor will be issued the signed contract once the City has received the project NTP from GDOT. The Contractor shall be issued the Construction Notice to Proceed no later than April 1, 2023. The City will pay the contractor for work completed at the stated unit prices as described in the contract bid form. Upon such final acceptance, the City will remit to the contractor all amounts remaining due under the terms of the contract. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project on January 10, 2022 at 10:00AM at the Meeting Hall located at 160 North Main Street, Madison, GA. A site visit will occur at the conclusion of the pre-bid meeting at Madison Municipal Airport which is located at 1245 Airport Industrial Blvd, Madison, GA 30650.Complete sets of drawings and specifications will be available starting on December 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM will be provided upon request via a download link from JACOBS at the below email address.
