Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued by Technical College System of Georgia on behalf of Ogeechee Technical College to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Bendix EC-60 Tractor Trailer Module Trainer and Training Material for their campus location (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ.
Ogeechee Technical College (OTC) is seeking bids from qualified suppliers that will provide a Bendix EC-60 Premium Tractor with Bendix TABS-6 Single Channel Trailer Module and Process Training Materials that will be incorporated as part of the course curriculum to assist Program students with Truck Brake System Repair and Service in DIET 2010 - Truck Brake Systems; The Trainer and Training Materials must coincide with the standards and body of knowledge that are associated with general air brakes air supply and system service; air brakes mechanical service; parking brakes; hydraulic brake system and service; hydraulic brakes mechanical service; hydraulic brakes power assist units; anti-lock brake systems (ABS) and automatic traction control (ATC) service and repair.
The College is mostly interested in purchasing a trainer that is Bendix EC-60 Premium Tractor with Bendix TABS-6 Single Channel Trailer. A new is preferred due to the braking systems having newer components that are currently being utilized within the automotive industry. The trainer must be portable and self-contained as there is limited space in the designated area. Trainers that are contained within a truck or half of a truck cannot be accommodated.
