The Chatham County Department of Engineering is seeking proposals from consultants to assist County staff in the preparation of floodplain management planning (FMP), Repetitive Loss Area Analysis (RLAA) and Natural Floodplain Functions plan (NFP) as detailed in Activity 510 Floodplain Management Planning of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Community Rating System (CRS) Coordinator’s Manual, FIA-15/2017 and active amendments in effect at the time of contract start. It is required that the plans be approved by FEMA. (Note these plans are different from FEMA’s Pre-Disaster Hazard Mitigation Plan.)
