Thomas County Board of Commissioners is soliciting professional engineering firms to perform the engineering design for the petitioned paved roads listed in the RFP. The primary scope of services is to complete a Boundary Survey and preliminary roadway plan including the horizontal alignment and provide the County with Right of Way Acquisition plats. Right of Way will be staked at the time of acquisition. Right of Way Plats of the proposed land acquisition will be supplied to Thomas County. Each road will be considered as its own “independent, stand alone” project. There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting scheduled for February 20, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Thomas County Board of Commissioners Office, 116 West Jefferson Street, 2nd Floor, Room 215, Thomasville, Georgia 31792. Submittal: Please submit 1 (one) original and 2 (two) copies of sealed bids to Thomas County Board of Commissioners (Attention: Nisha Thurman). Please mark outside of envelope “Sealed bid: Petitioned Paved Roads Engineering Services”. Bids will be accepted until 12:00 P.M. March 20, 2023.
