Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Street and Drainage Improvements to Callaway Drive, Larkspur Drive, Ashby Drive, and Sanibel Court in Coffee County, Georgia for the County’s Fiscal Year 2023 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) as awarded from the Georgia Department of Transportation until 10:00 A.M. (local time), Friday November 18, 2022, at which time bids will be opened and read. Bid Proposal are to be turned into the Coffee County Board of Commissioners by 9:30 A.M.

The meeting will be held at Coffee County Board of Commissioners Office and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Wesley Vickers, County Administrator, Coffee County Board of Commissioners, 101 South Peterson Avenue, Douglas, Georgia 31533. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The owner may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids.

The Scope of Work Includes:
Street and Drainage Improvements to Callaway Drive, Larkspur Drive, Ashby Drive, and Sanibel Court (0.725 Miles)

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of owner in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the County. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract Amount.

All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of Notice to Proceed.
