City of Cumming Utilities
Water Distribution and Collection Division

The City of Cumming Water Distribution and Collection Division is requesting proposals from qualified dealerships for current year model, One (1) 4x4 (Dual Rear Wheel) truck chasis 550 or 5500, with Knapheide (or equivalent) dump bed for the Water Distribution and Collection Division. Options on the truck and dump body should include as close as possible to the attached specifications.

Proposals should be typed or submitted in ink and returned in a sealed envelope marked on the outside with Distribution & Collection Dump Body Truck and City of Cumming, 100 Main Street, Cumming, GA 30040. Proposals will be received until October 31, 2022 at 11:00 am at Cumming City Hall second floor receptionist desk or by mail. Any Proposal received after this date and time will not be accepted.

Questions regarding the vehicle should be directed to Tim Day, Superintendent, 404-597-1557 or tday@cummingutilities.com no later than October 21, 2022 at 3:00 PM. Proposals are legal and binding upon submission. All proposals to be submitted in duplicate. Awarded dealership will be contacted within 120 days of proposal due date.
