PRE SOLICITATION FOR FY23 3RD QUARTERLY BREAD



The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup, intends to issue a solicitation RFQP03072300008 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY BREAD. FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin Apr. 01, 2023 thru June 30, 2023. Deliveries will be made to Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup, 2600 HWY 301 South, Jesup, Ga 31599. The contract type is firm ‑fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make a formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offer(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The government reserves the right to award item by item, or in groups of items, or in aggregate, whichever is most advantageous to the Government. Do not bid on items that are dependent on the award of other items. Items delivered will be accepted in accordance with FAR 52.211-16, Variation in Quantity at 10 percent and FAR 52.211-17, Delivery of Excess Quantities up to $250 in value without compensating. Excess items over the exact quantity ordered will be returned at the contractors’ expense or retained without compensation to the contractor. The solicitation will be made available on or about Wednesday, February 01, 2023 and will be posted to the https://beta.sam.gov/. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure of having the most up to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is Monday, February 20th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or via Government Purchase Card for awards of $10,000.00 or less. Each offer is required per FAR 52.212‑3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representation and Certification Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov .
