This is a commercial acquisition for the upgrade/repair of Battery Power Supply, NSN: 6130-01-395-2711JX, PN: 84520046-501 to Battery Power Supply, NSN: 6130-01-571-3233JX, PN: 84520046-701.The Battery Power Supply is used in the Universal External Fuel Tank Testers (FR216D0000-5) which is used during normal maintenance to test and certify the proper operation of the external fuel tanks utilized on multiple aircraft platforms. The Contractor shall repair battery power supply that are equal to, or superior to Original Component Manufacturer (OCM) components which meet applicable drawings, handbooks, manuals, and/or specification established by OCM and which will perform in next higher assemblies.
The Battery Power Supply is used in the Universal External Fuel Tank Tester (FR216D0000-5) which is used during normal maintenance to test and certify the proper operation of the external fuel tanks utilized on multiple aircraft platforms. The Battery Power Supply helps power the Tester as it verifies the proper functioning of the fuel quantity sensing system, valves, switches, and plumbing incorporated into the tank, which controls the flow of fuel into and out of the tank during flight operations.
We are looking to establish a five-year contract for this repair. This contract will contain options.
